We are pleased to announce the release of CLIO X 14.2. While minor updates typically focus on maintenance, this release represents a functional milestone for the CLIO system, introducing two highly requested features that expand the hardware’s versatility: Selectable Phantom Power and Digital Input Recording.

Selectable Phantom Power Voltage

Users can now adjust the phantom power voltage supplied to the inputs directly via the software. Located within the CLIO Options > Hardware menu, this new setting allows you to match the phantom power voltage to your specific microphone requirements (e.g., switching between48 V, 24 V and 8.2 V which is optimal for Audiomatica MIC-0x microphones).

New Digital Recording Function

A new recording module has been added to the Hardware Controls Toolbar. This function allows you to capture the raw signal from both input channels directly to a standard Wave (.wav) file.

• Simple Operation: Start and stop recording with a single click.
• Dual-Channel: Simultaneously captures both input streams.

Maintenance and Stability

As with every release, version 14.2 includes general bug fixes and performance improvements to ensure the stability you rely on for production and QC environments.
