{"id":4114,"date":"2024-09-17T13:01:39","date_gmt":"2024-09-17T12:01:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.audiomatica.com\/wp\/?p=4114"},"modified":"2024-09-17T13:57:09","modified_gmt":"2024-09-17T12:57:09","slug":"install-clio-pocket-3-under-macos-15-sequoia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.audiomatica.com\/wp\/?p=4114","title":{"rendered":"Install CLIO Pocket 3 under macOS 15 Sequoia"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When trying to install CLIO Pocket 3 under macOS 15 Sequoia you might find yourself in this situation where you cannot proceed with the software installation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"372\" height=\"344\" src=\"https:\/\/www.audiomatica.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2024-09-17-at-13.35.28.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4115\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.audiomatica.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2024-09-17-at-13.35.28.png 372w, https:\/\/www.audiomatica.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screenshot-2024-09-17-at-13.35.28-300x277.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 372px) 100vw, 372px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In previous versions of macOS right+Click on the ClioPkt package used to lead to the same dialog, but a click on the button &#8220;Done&#8221; was sufficient to install the Clio Pocket software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Apple documentation <a href=\"https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/news\/?id=saqachfa\">https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/news\/?id=saqachfa<\/a> this solution is not longer viable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;In macOS Sequoia, users will no longer be able to Control-click to override&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/developer.apple.com\/developer-id\/\">Gatekeeper<\/a>&nbsp;when opening software that isn\u2019t signed correctly or notarized. They\u2019ll need to visit System&nbsp;Settings&nbsp;&gt; Privacy &amp; Security to review security information for software before allowing it to run.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our code is properly signed as per Apple&#8217;s requirements. Until now, notarization was not necessary for applications distributed outside the Apple marketplace. However, Apple is currently pushing developers to notarize their software as well.
