Waterfalls are used to characterise the anechoic sound decay of a loudspeaker or the sound decay in a room.
The Waterfall post processing permits the following 3-D or Color types of analysis:

• Cumulative spectral decay (CSD)
  
• Energy Time Frequency (ETF)
